Rebuilding Puerto Rico Sustainably

Donation protected
Help us rebuild a stronger, safer and more sustainable Puerto Rico. With your support we will be able to finish the first building and have the space needed to teach the locals how to rebuild the island more sustainably. This effort will have a huge impact on infastructure of the island and the peoples ability to survive a natural phenomena such as Maria.

With the help of the mastermind Michael Reynolds, we will build a demonstration earthship for the people of Puerto Rico to learn how to build these sustainable and hurricane resistant earthships themselves with the materials located in their environment. The houses will include all 6 design principles that create self reliance and independence from any system. They are made from at least 60% recycled materials so we will also be cleaning up the island through our efforts as well.

Project Proposal and timeline:
Stage 1:
Send a small team to Puerto Rico for a week-long demonstration project to build a hurricane resistant Earthship to be used as shelter.
Timing: February 1 – 6 2018

Stage 2:
After documenting the situation and raising funds for the second round, we will return and integrate all systems and finish the build.
I can't tell you how much this project means to me and I am so happy to be a part of it. Thank you in advance! This money goes directly to Colectivo Verdolaga and Aguadas Tania Mia Relief Foundation
