Save a Mother and Her Children From Gaza
Donation protected
Dear compassionate souls around the world,
I am Mohammad Abuwarda, originally from the Gaza Strip in Palestine, now residing in Sweden. Today, I write to you with a heavy heart, seeking urgent help for my sister Warda and her six children. Their home in Jabalia Al-Nazla, was completely destroyed at the beginning of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, leaving them homeless and devastated.
Warda is a resilient woman, but the traumas of war have shattered her spirit and the lives of her children. She often finds herself wondering if there is any hope for a brighter future for her family. The pain in her heart intensifies when she looks into the innocent, fearful eyes of her children, who have lost their sense of security and tranquility.
Warda, 39, is a mother to six wonderful children: Souad (11), Bayan (10), Juri (8), Raghad (6), Muhammad (4), and Saeed (1).

Their lives were upended when their three-story family home, which housed six residential apartments, was demolished in January 2024.
Tragically, nine members of Warda's husband's family perished in the attack, and 25 others were injured. The loss, grief, and displacement have cast a long shadow over Warda and her children.
Currently, Warda and her children are living in dire conditions at the Halima Al-Saadia School in Jabalia Al-Nazla, along with approximately 10,000 other displaced individuals. The school lacks basic human necessities like clean water and a sewage system. Warda's family shares a single classroom with two other families, creating an environment that is neither safe nor healthy.

The impact of the war extends beyond the loss of their home. Warda's children have lost their grandparents, uncle, and cousins, and many other family members have sustained life-altering injuries. The continuous loss and trauma have left deep scars on their hearts.
Bayan, Warda's ten-year-old daughter, suffers from a severe skin disease that worsens in the summer. Living in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions has exacerbated her condition, and she no longer has access to the treatment she desperately needs. It is crucial for Bayan to receive proper medical care outside the Gaza Strip, where treatment options are available.

Urgent Need for Evacuation and Treatment
Given the dire situation, we urgently need to find a way to leave the Gaza Strip to seek medical treatment for Bayan and open new horizons for the future of the family. This will not only help Bayan receive the care she needs but also provide a safe environment for the entire family.
Financial Assistance Needed
To support Warda and her children in rebuilding their lives, we need financial assistance for the following:
• Estimated cost of leaving the Gaza Strip and treating Bayan in hospitals outside the Gaza Strip : $70,000
• Cost of rebuilding a house: $70,000
• Cost of renting an apartment or a better place to shelter them during the war period for one year: $12,000
• Annual expenses for Warda and her family for one year: $10,000
In these trying times, Warda never imagined she would have to ask for help. But with no other option left, she turns to the kindness of strangers around the world. She hopes that generous and compassionate individuals will support her in rebuilding their home and restoring hope for her children. Your donations will provide essential needs such as housing, clothing, and food, helping them to find some semblance of normalcy amidst the chaos.
We are immensely grateful for any support you can provide to the Warda family. Your generosity can bring light to their darkest days and help them rebuild their lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and assistance.
With deepest gratitude,
Mohammad Abuwarda
