This last week has truly been a traumatic and stressful time, to say the least. On 2/19/26, we had a house fire, losing everything but the pajamas we had on that morning. Myself and our four girls were able to get out, but our sweet girl Honey was lost during the fire. My mind can’t wrap around the fact that we had 15 years of memories in our home, and then completely gone within minutes. The fire went from 1 to 10 within minutes, and the entire house was black. I truly thank God for my oldest daughter Dakota who was able to grab my one-year-old when I couldn’t find her. God was truly surrounding us that morning because the entire household was asleep, and I just happened to wake up to the fire. Rebuilding from the ground up will be a battle, but it is a challenge as a family we’re willing to take on. We truly want to thank God, family, friends, and our community during this time.
