My brother Daniel and I are so grateful to all who have reached out with love to our mom and stepdad. The outpouring has filled our hearts.

As many of you know, Betty and Phil’s Altadena home burned to the ground on January 8th. For well over 3 decades, their home was a beautiful space, lovingly curated, where their lives with family and friends meaningfully unfolded over the years and where countless lasting memories were made. The loss is a deep one.

Many friends and family—near and far—have asked us how they can help. While difficult to fully envision right now, Betty and Phil are 100% determined to move forward and grow and to be a part of a future Altadena community. And, together, we are just as determined to support them as they do. As they begin to take the first important steps towards recovery and transformation, your presence, care, and love in their lives are invaluable.

We have set up this campaign for those who would like to contribute to a recovery fund as they secure their footing after the wildfire. Thank you.
