Hello everyone, my name is Allison Matthies (formerly Allison Painter), my sister Lindsey and her boyfriend Reed lost their home and all of their possessions in the Gatlinburg TN fire.
The Inn where Reed worked was also completely destroyed by the fire, (Eight Gables Inn) so he is without a job at least for now.
They will use the money for things like clothes, shoes, toiletries, furniture, housing... the list goes on and on. Since the main reason they were in TN to begin with was for Reed's job at the Inn & that is now completely burned, they have decided to move back to Nevada to start rebuilding their life here close to family.
They will likely be using the money as it becomes available in order to get housing, clothing, and other basic needs met.
They have only the clothes on their backs & could really use help to rebuild their lives & get back to some kind of normal.
Anyone who knows my sister knows that she is the kindest, most selfless person on earth and she is always the first to lend a helping hand when someone is in need... Let's rush to her aid during this extremely painful time in her life.
