My cousin Kim has taught at Hidden Valley Satellite School for 23 years as a Kindergarten teacher. Her school burned to the ground during the Tubbs Fire in Santa Rosa. Having accumulated teaching materials, books, and many toys for her Kindergarten she has lost everything in a devasting fire that has not only left her students without a school, many were left without homes. In an effort to provide her students with a smooth transition into their relocated classroom, she is trying to replace items that were lost. Books they love, games and toys they are familiar with so that they can concentrate on healing from this traumatic event. With so much change for her little friends (students fled in the night with no possesions), She wants to provide them with consistancy for their educational day. I am hopeful you will reach out and hlep her students to thrive once again!
