Rebuild our flooded home, sweet home

Hi, my name is Ion (many of you know me as Nicu), and I'm fundraising to reconstruct our home in Orange County, Orlando, FL, which was flooded during hurricane Ian. Unfortunately, our house was flooded so badly that we lost almost everything: furniture, appliances, personal items, family memories, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, all the walls in the house had to be removed 4 feet, the bathroom shower has to be reconstructed, AC and water heater have to be replaced.

My family (wife Veronica and two 1-year-old boys Luca and Nicholas) and I were rescued from our house by boat during the flood.

Our neighborhood was not considered a flood zone, hence we did not have a flood insurance policy, and the homeowner's insurance company denied our claim, leaving us with zero damage covered. FEMA helped with only 14% of the reconstruction cost (not even considering the replacement cost for furniture).

We are currently renting a place until our sweet home is reconstructed.

Please help us achieve the fundraising goal so we can rebuild our home, move back into our house, and finally get over this nightmare.
