Anyone who knows my mom, knows how much of a kind, loving, selfless and strong woman she is. There is no doubt in anyone’s minds that she can and will win this fight against breast cancer. What she and my dad can’t battle on their own is the financial burden that this will bring on them. Between fuel costs to travel to Kitchener for treatments, expensive parking passes for the hospital, possible loss of work for my Dad to take her to treatments, medications and therapies to ease the discomfort of the side effects of treatments, among many other various things that will come along this difficult journey.

These are all things that a small donation from friends and family could help with.

Linda is a wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and most recently a new grandmother. Her treatment will be extensive over the next year, and will be hard on her and those closest to her.

I’ve heard stories like this in the past, but it’s one of those things that you never think will happen to you. But then the horrible reality hits you in the face. It takes courage to ask for help, so here I am, with a mix of strength and vulnerability, begging for any assistance you can provide.
