RCL Branch 22 - HVAC fund raising

You keep hearing about places in the community that were "built with blood, sweat and tears". I can't think of a place that fits that description more than a Royal Canadian Legion Branch. Not only were these places built to provide a continued sense of Comradeship for those returning from the "Great Wars" and becoming the heart of their communities, but many of those Branches were physically BUILT by those founding Veterans and members of that same community.

As you know, many Legion branches were struggling to survive even before the Covid-19. The Royal Canadian Legion - Woodbine Heights (Branch 22) was lucky enough not to be in this position before the shutdown, but in order to reopen safely they have to replace their HVAC system. This is a very large, but necessary expense...and one that I hope this effort will help them pay off as soon as possible.

Our lofty goal, of course, is to cover the full amount of the system in the time that GoFundMe allows. A daunting task indeed, especially in these trying times, but every little bit truly adds up. If everyone who reads this were to give only $10, and then share this to their social media and ask their friends to do the same, this goal could be met with amazing speed.

RCL Branch 22 has been around and helping its community for over 90 years…let’s now help them as a community to be around for another 90 years.
