My name is Kristi Leppard and this is my sweet most handsome god son I could ever ask for!!!!! I am doing this go fund me account for my cousin Bub and my best friend for over 30 yearsJulie because with him being a month early Julie and Bub have missed work unexpectedly and we all know how bills can pile up on us in a blink of a eye and with them having so much pride in trying to do everything on there own they won’t ask for help so I’m asking for help for them and this sweet little man who is fighting so hard he is gonna need special formula for his kidneys and specials bottles for his cleft palate and anything else they may need so if you can donate anything helps and even if you can’t please pray for them and my sweet god son RAYLAND AKA(FIGHTER) share as much as possible and thank you all in advance Kristi

Rayland was born with only 1 kidney. His only remaining kidney has an ailment called VUR . It is when the urine in the bladder only drains half way and the rest goes back up into the kidney causing swelling and fluid to build up. When the toxins from this fluid build up it causes the kidney to fail at doing its job. Right now drs are running multiple test to find a reason and develop a treatment plan. A normal kidney level for baby is 0.35 a normal level for an adult is 0.9. Raylands level is at 3.5 (nearly 7 times higher than normal) which means his kidney is 0.5 away from being completely nonfunctional. With it being his only kidney it is very important for the drs to find a reason and treat it as soon as possible.
He also has a soft cleft palate. This is a hole in the roof of his mouth. He will require special bottles to feed. Then surgical repair at 9-10 months old. Followed by several dr check ups until he is in his mid 20s.
He was 1 month early and due to that his lungs could not develop completely. He has fought long and hard to strengthen them and hes doing good now without oxygen assistance. That could change at any point but for now his lungs are doing great.
