On Friday, September 6th 2019 our dear friend Ray or as many of us knew him "Cody" passed away, leaving behind a beautiful daughter, Emma, and many heartbroken friends and family members.
For all that knew him, Cody's everyday life was defined by his selfless acts of giving to others. In 2008, Cody joined the United States Marine Corps, serving as an Infantry Rifleman to ensure that others are able to enjoy freedoms that are too often taken for granted.
In the end, Cody's life ended exactly as he lived it - in service to others. His last act on this planet was to donate his organs to strangers in need. Giving all that he had left to offer so that others could live.
Since he entered the hospital, Facebook has been flooded with stories and remembrances of Cody and the love that everyone has for him. Nearly each comment reflects on his magnetic personality, infectious smile, generosity and most importantly the positive impact he had on so many lives.
Cody's loss will be felt deeply.
