RAVE: A Slasher Short Film

Hello, we appreciate you taking the time to check out our GoFundMe page to learn more about our project! This is a fundraiser to help raise funds for our upcoming Slasher / Comedy short film Rave.

We are currently knee deep in pre-production but are in need of a little more funding. With your help, we can get to the budget that we need to make Rave exactly how we envision it. Anything helps and will be greatly appreciated! Every single dollar raised will go directly towards our budget.

After an underground rave hosted by the enigma DJ LZR FACE, an eclectic group of young Hollywood stars end their night at a mansion in the hills unaware of the bloodshed destined to come. One by one they are picked off in brutal slasher fashion by the katana wielding DJ. In a desperate attempt to survive this after party massacre, The Final Girl squares off head-to-head against the killing machine…

For Rave, we set out to add to the iconic legacy of slasher villains with our very own DJ LZR FACE. This is a concept that we’ve been fleshing out for a couple years now, and we’re finally ready to bring it to life.

This film is very important to us because we are huge fans of the slasher genre and are very passionate about keeping it alive. Rave perfectly encapsulates us as filmmakers and demonstrates what we want to offer to the film community with our unique vision and offbeat tone.

This is also just the bite sized nightmare version of Rave… We have bigger aspirations towards expanding this electric universe and making Rave the feature film, which we plan to do after a successful short film.

We are at the point in our filmmaking journey where if we want to take that next step up in the industry, we need to create an undeniably great film. We know that we have that potential right here with Rave, but we cannot create this calling card that will jumpstart our careers without your help.
