Rapid Acceleration 4593 Robotics World Finals

On March 20, 2019, our FIRST Robotics Competition team went to Denver, Colorado with 25 students and six mentors to compete at the Colorado Regional. After months of hard work and long nights, our diligence finally paid off—as Regional Finalists, our team was awarded a Wild Card slot, and we are now qualified for the World Championship held in Detroit, Michigan from April 24-27, 2019!

From pre-season to present, each and every one of us has learned so much about both FIRST Robotics itself and the intricacies of robot design, fabrication, and function. Now, we are in need of the funds to travel to Detroit, Michigan. We’re hoping to take as many students as we can to the FRC World Championship, so that we can experience this year’s game, Destination: Deep Space presented by the Boeing Company, at an even higher level.

In order to make it to the Worlds Competition, we are looking for funds and support to make this trip to Detroit to compete in the World Championship. As a small team lacking resources, the opportunity to travel to Detroit and compete with the best teams in the world would be a life changing opportunity for our students. We are asking for your support to help assist us in our trip, to help pay for expenses including hotels, food, and other travel costs.
