Annual Fund Drive for Rancho Del Nino.
Each year I hold a fund raiser for the Rancho Del Nino Orphanage in Empalme Mexico. The money goes to feed and cloth the orphans and also provide for utilities and repairs and improvements at the Rancho.
The Rancho has 25 children ranging in ages from new borns to 18 year olds. The Catholic Church provides three nuns (Madres) to care for the children and they have part time help for cooking and laundry which is paid for by our donations.
The total budget is $3,300 per month. 100% of this funding comes from my fund raiser and “The Friends of Rancho Del Nino”, a group in Albuquerque New Mexico which has been supporting the children for 34 years. The group in New Mexico, referred to by the Madres as “The Lords of Albuquerque” are getting old and will not be able to contribute at the same levels and eventually their funding will stop.
Therefore, it is important that we continue to increase fund raising. The goal for my fund raiser was $25,000 this year. To date we have collected $15,900 so we are roughly $10,000 short of this goal.
Please help us get to our goal for this year and continue to support these little children. 100% of your donations are tax deductible and will go to support the children. Your donations will be made to the “Friends of Rancho Del Nino” a registered 503c and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
