Ramiro from Maverick needs help

Ramiro has been one of our drivers at Maverick for almost 5 years and  has been a great guy to have on our team.  On the 19th of April while out on a route he started to feel a little off and in typical Ramiro fashion tried to finish his service.  Luckily he was with another one of our drivers which immediately noticed that something was wrong. After a quick call to 911 he was on his way to the hospital within a matter of minutes.   Long story short Ramiro suffered a stroke that day. I was out of town attending a continuing education course when I heard the news.  Thinking the worst that night I was in bed when my phone rang.  It was Ramiro.  After suffering a stroke and being in the ICU he wanted to let me know that he would need Friday and Saturday off because he was going to be in the hospital.  I was shocked to be speaking to him after all that I had been told that day.  I was blown away with him being so concerned about coming back to work and not seeming to care about what had just happened to him.  After 11 days in ICU he is recovering from a  procedure to correct the cause of his stroke.  He is showing some signs of improvement which has us all feeling good about his recovery but we have to accept the fact that this will be a long process.  Ramiro is the sole provider for his family and though our Maverick family is pulling together to assist Ramiros family will need some help to make it through this long process.  For anyone who knows or works with him can attest this is a solid dude that is one of the most easy going and likable people I know.  Please take a moment to help him!  Thanks  Jay.
