Our dear friend, Renee Vendetti, has been bravely fighting pancreatic cancer for over a year and a half. As many of you know, this diagnosis often comes with a devastating prognosis—but Renee has met it with unwavering strength, grace, and determination. She has endured medications, chemotherapy, and radiation, all while choosing to focus on living each day to its fullest rather than giving in to fear.

Recently, Renee faced a sudden and serious setback that led to multiple hospital stays, emergency surgeries, and a long list of tests. She was transferred from Erie to Pittsburgh for more advanced care. While we’ve received some hopeful news—indications that her cancer’s growth has been slow—there are still many unanswered questions about what’s happening inside her body and what lies ahead.

As you can imagine, the financial strain of ongoing treatment, travel, and hospital stays has been overwhelming. Insurance helps, but it doesn't cover everything. There are growing out-of-pocket costs that no one should have to face alone—especially not someone who’s already fighting for her life.

That’s why her daughter and I have created this donation page. We want Renee to focus on healing, not bills. We want her to know she’s surrounded by love, hope, and a community that cares deeply.
