Rally for Matt Wallace's Recovery

Our beloved friend and colleague, Matt Wallace, was recently diagnosed with cancer. As many of you know, Matt has devoted years to the homeless community in Lee County as a Homeless Outreach Coordinator — guiding those experiencing homelessness with wisdom, warmth, and unwavering care.

Matt has touched hundreds of lives with his deep compassion, fierce advocacy, and strength. Whether he was helping someone in need discover their path, supporting a colleague, or simply listening with his signature grace, Matt has been a pillar of support and inspiration to all who know him.

Now, it’s our turn to support him.

Matt is just beginning his cancer battle, and while his diagnosis is very serious, his spirit remains strong. We are rallying together to ease the burden of medical costs, travel, and time away from work so Matt can focus on healing — with the hope that he’ll return to the place he loves, and those he has worked with and helps on a daily basis.
