Rally for a Mother Fighting for Her Son

Dear Friends and Community,

I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to support my dear friend, who has been through an unimaginable ordeal. For nine years, she has been the sole provider for her son, raising him independently without any financial or emotional support from his father. Despite the challenges, she gave her son a loving and stable home, doing everything in her power to ensure he had the best life possible.

A few years ago, the father began to show more interest in their son’s life. While she welcomed this newfound involvement, she also decided it was time to move back to the Valley to be closer to her family, provide even more support for her son and for a new job opportunity. However, when she made this decision, the father sued her for moving, and the battle ended up in court.

The trial was devastatingly unfair, and despite all of my friend’s efforts and sacrifices, she lost custody of her son. She poured her life savings into legal fees, fighting with everything she had to keep her son in her life, but now she is left with nothing. To make matters worse, she is required to pay child support to the father, on top of the overwhelming legal expenses she still owes.

She is in desperate need of help to cover these mounting legal expenses. She has always been an incredible mother, friend, and person, and it’s heartbreaking to see her in this position. Any amount you can contribute will make a world of difference to her and her son during this incredibly challenging time.
