Thomas Chin's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Thomas Chin and I am currently a Life Scout in Troop 993 in Houston. Scouting has been a part of my life since I was 11 years old and began my journey in Beijing, China as a member of Troop 943. Along this journey, I came to realize just how enjoyable and meaningful scouting is. Scouting has allowed me the chance to connect with the community, learn leadership skills, volunteer for service work, and especially find joy in the outdoors.

Now I have the chance to give back to the community that has supported me for so long. I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout project, which is a service project designed and led by myself, in order to build a garden for the Ray K. Daily Elementary School. In my project, I will be removing old structures and constructing a garden for the school. I plan to initiate and complete the project on April 4th. Funds will be used to obtain the materials and supplies that are necessary for me to carry out my project. Any support from you in the form of a donation would be gladly appreciated.
