Raising money for at risk youth

This fundraiser is being held for all my youth that I have in my Urban Warriors program at 4 different sites for the YMCA.  Those sites being at; Little Village/ Pilsen, McCormick/Humboldt Park, Southside, South Chicago. My goal with this fundraiser is truthfully to help out the kids in my program and their families during these hard times. Especially since it's affecting families of the west and southside communities so bad.

The funds that are raised will be used for a multitude of things that are needed. From Bus/Ventra cards for the youth to get back and forth from home to programs they are involved in or sports to keep them engaged in the community. To other things like essentials for the youth and their families like: food, winter clothing, masks, school supplies, toiletry supplies and so much more. I would love to hold this fundraiser up until Christmas time, this way I can make care packages for the youth and their families for the holidays. 

Truthfully, I decided to do this is because  I've seen how hard the struggle really has been for the youth in my programs and others. Non profits and programs like mine are really struggling with grant money and helping youth out due to grants and COVID causing a lot of non profits to go out of business. This then causes youth not to be able to get the help and the opportunities they need. 

This would truthfully mean the world to me and my youth because it means me and my team over at the YMCA's would be able to provide and do more for these kids. So any help or donation sent to here will definitely make a difference in the life of a child that truthfully doesn't have much right now and we are just trying to keep off the streets.
