Settle My Mum's Medical Bills

Hi All,

My name is Adrian Ellis and I am trying to raise funds for my mother's medical bills.

My mother was scheduled to undergo bilateral knee replacement surgery in India, on April 19th, however, during the surgery, she experienced a pulmonary embolism and suffered two heart attacks which required immediate and intensive medical intervention.

She was resuscitated and spent the next nine days in the intensive care unit (ICU); the first five (116 hours) of which she was on a ventilator. During this time, the medical team managed to stabilize her condition.

I am relieved to share that she has now been recovering at the hospital in New Delhi for almost two weeks now and though her condition is still listed as serious, she is out of immediate danger and well on the path to recovery.

Unfortunately, we have been facing mounting hospital expenses some of which have already been settled. The running total at the end of her two week stay is now just over $11,000.00. She is scheduled to be discharged in another week, however this timeline is dependent on her recovery progress. We anticipate the final bill from the hospital to be around $12,000.00.

The goal, therefore, is to raise as much of the $12,000 as possible, so whatever you can contribute to make this a reality, will be greatly appreciated.
