LET'S RAISE THE BLINDS!
Each year, the Fort Lee School 4 PTA fundraises to help contribute to the school in a way that benefits the experience of our students, teachers, and overall School 4 community.
This year, the PTA would like to purchase new blinds for classrooms that need replacements. We have noticed that many classroom blinds are shredded, yellowed from age, and most do not roll up and down easily. In today's world, it is imperative that the school be able to black out the classrooms in the event of a security need from outside the building. During the summer/warm weather months, it also gets quite hot inside the classrooms and there is no shade to control the temperature inside when the blinds don't roll up and down.
The PTA has already replaced blinds in 6 classrooms. In addition to the fundraising done so far this school year, we are still in need of an additional $11,000 in order to provide new blinds for 6 more classrooms on the list. If we are able to raise more than what is needed, all funds will be used for additional classroom blinds and/or School 4 projects.
