Raise money to help a sister be by her brother

I am trying to raise money for my granddaughter Cassie Rasmussen.

Cassie and Matthew like all of us have monthly bills to keep the house going plus they have 2 children. It takes both couples to work to make ends meet. Cassie got that phone call from the Fort Pierce Florida Police Department, that call no one wants to get, about her brother Jacob Schmitz. Jake was a victim of a hit and run left on the side of the road to die. The driver never cared enough to stop. Jake has already gone through a couple surgeries and now he is in an induced coma. Cassie and her father went to Florida as soon as they were told, they stayed by his side and tried to figure out how this all happened.

Cassie had to return so she can go to back to work. It breaks our hearts she can’t afford to stay with Jake. He has no one to sit with him to let him know someone is there for him to just keep fighting it all just breaks our hearts that we can’t afford to let her go back to be with him. As all of us know if it were someone, we loved we would not want to leave his side so soon after this tragedy. Can we all just put our hearts together and just give a little, because lots of little’s make a big, anything helps. We just want to raise some money to help with the expense for her to be able to return to her brother side. I will have Cassie post updates on Jake. Please help us to be able to send Jakes sister back to sit at his side. If you can’t give, please pray because I do believe prayer help and right now, we could use a miracle.
