In early April, Rainy and Cory’s world changed cataclysmically. Rainy was diagnosed with a slow-moving cancer that needs immediate, aggressive, and expensive treatment. Despite her many years of service to our community and our children, Rainy has only 5 PTO days, no sick time, no extended emergency sick leave, and only self-purchased, exceedingly-high-deductible medical benefits to draw on.

In this 1st phase of providing urgent and immediate support, together we need to raise a minimum of $50,000 to cover the massive insurance deductible, medical bills for the initial chemo treatments, and lost wages.
