Assalamu3alaykum everyone! Alhamdulillah within the past month we 've accomplished so much more then we ever thought we could. We started off as a small group just trying to provide a few free iftar meals to being able to host two huge iftar pickups and deliveries that gave away more than 400 meals, delivering 300 + Eid gifts to kids in the community, and hosting a HUGE rally with Black Live Matter Syracuse and CuseYouthBLM that gathered over 2000 participants.
We plan on continuing to provide to relief to the community whether it’s advocating against injustice or providing resources to those in need. In order to do that we need help from all of you to help us cover our operational costs. We are currently working on developing a website that will help us centralize all of our resources and make it much easier for the community to get access to things like donations, volunteer application, etc. We also will be using this money to help us run our social media and spread word of our events to wider audiences. Any pop-up events or smaller actions we also plan on funding through the money raised on this gofundme.
