Rafas Story for CHARGE FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

We, Leanna Williams & Nicole Solomon (Aunties) and Dimitri Solomon (Daddy) are running this years half marathon to help raise awareness of a charity that is very close to our hearts, CHARGE FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP.  Any donations would be massively appreciated to help family's who, like us have a loved one affected by CHARGE Syndrome.  ❤️RAFAEL SOLOMON❤️ Many of you will know our little Rafael, and why he is so so precious to us. Rafael was born on 25th October 2017 and after a long 6 months of worrying & waiting in hospital we were told the heartbreaking news that he had a rare genetic disorder known as CHARGE syndrome. This affects 1 in 20,000 and all cases are very different & complex. In Rafaels case it affected his heart, breathing, feeding, swallowing, hearing & development. Living with CHARGE can be hard, tough & will test your limits every day. But living with Rafael there is always love, laughter & smiles. He is the happiest boy we know despite all he has going on, & it is very challenging at times but seeing how far he has come makes it all worth it. We couldn't be prouder of him and are forever grateful that he is here with us today, with his beautiful face & funny personality We love you Rafa❤️
