My mom was just diagnosed wirh Spiral Cell Sarcoma. One day she is walking and working on her beautiful garden and the next she lost strength in her legs. A Cancerous Tumor was removed from her spine which was the culprit of her current disability. She lost her ability to walk and I am attempting to get her treated at MD Anderson in Houston where I live. They specialize in her type of cancer but she was denied Medicare and Medicaid and BCBSTX HMO is not accepted at MD Anderson. She is now doing radiation therapy and bill came in at $20000 and I am trying to help her as much as I can. My mom always was there for me and now I am here for her and I am willing to do anything in my power to give her the opportunity to walk again by use of the appropriate treatment that the Specialist recommend.
