As a daughter, sister, mother, teacher, and friend to so many, Rachel Paige Colenda, of Austin, TX, shared her love of family, friends, knowledge and music to all those she encountered. Graced with a beautiful sense of openness, she harbored a tender space for all those she loved. However, there were none more dear to her than her only son, Caleb Rudolf.
She was taken from us far too soon for comprehension. Many are left in a devastating place of heartache and confusion. May this site be a place for us to come together as a Rachel-Community to celebrate her life, share thoughts, prayers, and memories, as well as to provide an opportunity for anyone who is moved to do so to make a financial contribution to her son's future.
100% of these donations will be spent on Caleb's living expenses and his future. Rachel's Dad (Caleb's Grandad), Don Marburg, will be the managing conservator for Caleb's account. All four grandparents (Don Marburg, Carol Colenda, Nell Teas & Al Ostroot) will be standing together, in Rachel's place, raising Caleb Colenda, just as she would have wanted.
