Dear ann arbor community. Hi, I hope everyone had a great weekend my family did not however. I don't know where else or whoever I can turn to for help. So here I am. My family's only car broke down this weekend it's a 2017 jeep patriot we bought 6 months ago with all the money we had saved. It's going to cost at least $3000 to fix which I simply don't have. Both me and my husband work low ish paying jobs at an elementary school. We depend on this car for work grocery shopping etc. Most important it allows me to attend weekly treatments and u of m for my chronic illness and disease I've been fighting for 4 years now medication alone costs me $500 out of pocket for the meds I need. So we are desperate to get it fixed asap. If you can help please let me know. Thank you in advance. Lots of love from the Collins family.
