You held my hand and I'll hold yours........

You held my hand and I'll hold yours...…. to my beautiful friends Suzy, Sean, Ogy and Cora, I'm walking with you .... all the way xxx

To everyone else please help me walk with my friends …. 

Cora was diagnosed with 't cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma' in August 2019 , from that moment Suzy and Sean you dropped everything and since then all you have done is focus on giving Cora the best care, love and attention that you possibly can. Heres to you Suzy and Sean for your strength and resilience and taking everything in your stride the only way you know how... together. 

Anyone who knows Suzy knows she is the life and the soul of the party, Suzy is also the life and the soul of our community, if someone is in need Suzy will do all she can to make sure she can put a smile on their face and ease their burden and hardships in someway. She has a job in a caring profession, she organises fundraisers for mental health, for older people , for youth …. the list goes on. Suzy and Sean have never been ones to easily accept kindness and support from others being the proud family they are, but now I want you to help me give back to my friends. 

Little Cora has been through her fair share of challenges in 2019 being diagnosed with cancer and being an inpatient since time of diagnosis. Cora has shown her fight to survive through her spirited little character, she has been faced with ongoing infections and fevers that are prohibiting her from gaining the treatment that she needs. Even with all these challenges Cora wakes up everyday with a smile on her face ready to continue her fight, her resilience and strength will see her win this battle.  

On a practical note Suzy and Sean take it night about to stay with Cora in hospital and when they are not with Cora they are with their little boy Sean Og getting him ready for school and making sure they have quality time together, for Suzy and Sean its like passing ships in the night but they know this too will pass and life as they knew it will return. 

Cora is getting the best care she can from the staff at The Royal Hospital but as I am sure you can all imagine these events are taking their toll on Suzy and Sean … this is where I need your help. 

I will be doing the 80km (49.71 miles) Bondi to Manly walk on 29/02/2020 with my good friend Stephanie O'Kane. We will walk the 80km straight taking only breaks for food and coffee. I am asking you to take part in this fundraiser by donating some funds and/or joining me on the walk or part thereof to show Cora we are all battling with her. 

I ask you to help me walk with my friends …….
