Jeff Alfreide--a name so many young adults look up to on Delmarva. A friend, a role model, a brother, a drummer, a writer, and most importantly a man of GOD. While he is longer here to give us a word of wisdom today, during his 23 years of life, he gave us plenty of insight for tomorrow. He was a young man with many dreams, and because of that The Jeff Beat Cancer Foundation was created.
This organization was founded shortly after Jeff's passing on January 23, 2014. Jeff was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November 2012. During the year and couple months of intense treatment that Jeff underwent, he remained positive and sparked hope in the midst of difficulties. He often expressed the desire to inspire the community, specifically the young people, to live purposeful lives. Jeff Beat Cancer Foundation is committed to carry forward Jeff’s dreams of community empowerment and cancer awareness.
Jeff Beat Cancer Foundation is currently planning an outdoor local community event that is scheduled to be held on June 13, 2015. The community event will be an all day festivity where we plan to showcase a variety of tables that will address specific topics such as: leukemia, other blood cancers, common health issues, healthy living, spirituality, and mental health. Additionally, we will have live music/entertainment, guest speakers, food, inflatables, games, and arts and crafts for children.

Jeff's Legacy & the Jeff Beat Cancer Foundation
The foundation is looking to raise money to help with event costs and causes in which the foundation supports. Of the total contributions collected, 60% will be used to fund the community event, the Jeff Alfreide Memorial Scholarship, and future events and 40% percent will be donated to the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society.
Please help support the Jeff Beat Cancer Foundation in carryng forward Jeff's dream to empower young adults across Delmarva and in the world!
