"Warm the Hall!"

Greetings from my very cold office at Magalia Community Church! All 5 HVAC units in the community/fellowship hall are down due to a “power surge” – probably from PG&E power shut downs…The professionals can’t tell for sure, but they all went down at one time and it is COLD in the hall! Sure! We can add it to the lawsuit, but that won’t warm the hall this winter!

Since we can’t get a grant for a capital expenditure, we need to raise money otherwise to repair or replace these 30+ year old units.

Magalia Community Church plans on continuing to serve the THOUSANDS of people each month (3,800 per month averaged over the last six months). Our estimate is that we will be open for at least another year to assist Camp Fire Survivors. Which means, without these HVAC units to keep us from freezing in the winter and melting in the summer; giving out that assistance will be very difficult!

So we are asking for donations to help us repair or replace these five units! Donations can be made here at this Go Fund Me account, or they can be mailed to Magalia Community Church, P.O. Box 165, Magalia, CA 95954 – please note on the check it is for “Warm the Hall!”.
