We are an enthusiastic and creative group of college students, born and raised in beautiful Spokane, WA, trying to make a local short film. We are a small, dedicated crew with a vision to create a short film at Priest Lake, in nearby Northern Idaho.
"Tour de Priest" is a film about a group of cyclists endure a 25 stage race around the lake. Throughout the grueling stages Luca, the main character becomes tempted by the idea of a normal, fun summer when he discovers the love of his life, a beautiful, elusive girl named Paglia.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll fall in love all over again. All on two wheels.
Creating a movie is no small endeavor. It takes lots of people and a lot of funding to make a vision become a reality. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. We will use some of your donations to create sets for the film, but the majority of it will be used to enter film festivals. As college students, the cost of festival fees has become unrealistic, but they are critical in order to be seen and recognized by the industry. Therefore, much of the donations pledged will go towards entering festivals such as the San Diego International Film Festival, and the Spokane International Film Festival.
Filming dates are October 8th-11th
The release date will be December 25th, with hopes to have COVID safe small showings.
