Quona Paddles Her Way Into International Waters

My name is Michael Attard, a colleague and friend of Quona Ross Atkinson who through fortitude, grace, and determination, earned a silver model in the 2024 Paddle Australia Ocean Racing Championships.

This incredible effort has resulted in Quona's qualification for 2024 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships , held on the 1-6 October, 2024 in Madiera, Portugal.

This feat and success came as a surprise to Quona and her family, who are relishing in her success, and will be cheering her on from afar.

Due to the short notice, this fundraising initiative is intended to help support Quona on her journey to help cover some of the costs associated with the trip at such a late notice.

The fundraising will help support Quona on the International Paddling Stage by covering the following costs:

Flights (Sydney to Madiera, Portugal)

Race Entry

Hiring Fees of Equipment for Competition

Accommodation costs.
