Queer POC Leeds British Citizenship Fund

We have created this fundraiser on behalf of one of our family, community members and loved one, who need to raise funds for the final stage of their British citizenship process.

Having moved from Jamaica to the Uk with their parents and siblings as a young child, they have now been in the Uk for over 23 years. Whilst having lived in the UK for the majority of their life, and all their family members now have citizenship, due to the financial cost and completing university, they have been unable to attain citizenship. However, after 5 years of going through the process, they are now at the final stage of this process and need a little help to overcome the final hurdle in attaining British citizenship.

So to help reach their goal of £1000 we are setting up this fundraiser and event at Wharf Chambers on the 13th May 2023 (11 pm-4 am) to get as close to this goal as we can.

If you can attend the fundraising event, then we ask for a donation of £5 before the night or £10 OTD.
