Quechua/Spanish/English Book

I am going to Bolivia for one month in order to create a print and digital book in Quechua, Spanish, and English. This will be a University of Pittsburgh project. I am pursuing a degree in linguistic anthropology and have been studying Quechua for two terms. I will utilize my skills in technology, art, and writing to collect a Quechua story from indigenous elders. This is an intergenerational project. Elders will work with children who will create the artwork. Authors and illustrators will be the elders and children. The book and all proceeds will go to the indigenous community. I really love the idea of combining an ancient, oral story with modern technology. I believe this will be the first book of its kind produced in Bolivia.
