Quang Tri Citadel Monument Building Committee

Fifty year ago, a great victory was won by South Vietnam's Army of the Republic of Vietnam, and its American ally, against North Vietnam's People's Army of Vietnam. The Battle to Retake Quang Tri Citadel (Lam Son 72), from June 28 to September 16, 1972, was a decisive victory and has proven to the world the bravery, determination and endurance of South Vietnam's people and soldiers against an overwhelming invasion from North Vietnam.

This Retaken of Quang Tri Citadel Monument 1972 is to dedicate to all the people who have sacrificed their lives in the war so that their children and grandchildren can live well and prosper in freedom today. The monument is being proposed and built by an approved committee of the City of Westminster, California, which is composed of representatives from eleven associations of South Vietnamese Veterans, American Veterans, Former Quang Tri Residents, and Descendants of the Republic of Vietnam. All donations to help build this monument may be tax-deductible.

Năm mươi năm trước đây, một chiến thắng vĩ đại đã được giành lại bởi Quân Lực Việt Nam Cộng Hòa của miền Nam Việt Nam, và đồng minh Hoa Kỳ, chống lại Quân Đội Nhân Dân của miền Bắc Việt Nam. Trận đánh tái chiếm Thành cổ Quảng Trị (Lam Sơn 72), từ ngày 28/6 đến ngày 16/9/1972, là một chiến thắng quyết liệt và đã chứng minh cho thế giới thấy sự dũng cảm, quyết tâm và sức chịu đựng của nhân dân và chiến sĩ miền Nam Việt Nam trước một cuộc xâm lược áp đảo từ miền Bắc Việt Nam.

Tượng Đài Tái Chiếm Cổ Thành Quảng Trị năm 1972 này nhằm để hiến dâng cho tất cả những người đã hy sinh trong cuộc chiến để con cháu của họ có thể sống tốt và thịnh vượng trong tự do ngày hôm nay. Tượng đài này đang được đề xuất và xây dựng bởi một ủy ban được sự chấp thuận của Thành phố Westminster, California, bao gồm đại diện từ mười một hội đoàn Cựu Chiến Sĩ Việt Nam Cộng Hoà, Cựu Chiến Sĩ Hoa Kỳ, Cựu Cư Dân Quảng Trị, và Hậu Duệ của Việt Nam Cộng Hòa. Mọi đóng góp để giúp xây dựng tượng đài có thể được trừ thuế.
