Jenny Peters - Medical Expense Fund

Late in November, our dear friend, Jenny (Madison) Peters received a cervical cancer diagnosis. Her immediate treatment plan includes five days a week of radiation and chemotherapy for eight continuous weeks which begins in mid-December. She is receiving treatment at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Most of you know Jenny, one of her family members, or one of us--her friends from the Pine City High School Class of 1982. Jenny is a “staple” in the Pine City community, and I’m sure she has touched your life in some way over the years--whether she cheered with you or for a sport you played in school, sat next to you at church, beautifully sang at a wedding you attended, or provided service to you at one of her local jobs.
Right now Jenny could use some help from all of us. As you know, there are many expenses not covered by insurance when one undergoes treatment for a serious illness and is unable to work--and her costs are mounting quickly. Our goal through this fundraising page is to provide Jenny with assistance with health insurance deductibles and co-payments, transportation costs, and other unexpected expenses, so she can concentrate her energy on healing.
GoFundMe allows us to invite others to take part in Jenny’s story. And while none of us wants to have a reason to ask for help, GoFundMe, with the help of social media, allows us to reach hundreds of people at once.
