Today, August 12, 2018, my nephew Elias Barajas was found dead in a canal in Alton, Texas. Elias was missing for about 3 days before he was found. We still don't have the full details of what happened. We do know he tried to climb up the canal, but did not succeed and unfortunately drowned. Elias had just turned 18 on May 25.
His mother, father, sister, and brothers are asking the community for donations. We were not prepared for this tragedy, and the pain is unbearable. Our family still had hope, and prayed last night for Elias to be found with life. These past days have been very difficult for our family not knowing where he, now that we know what happened we are worried for the funeral expenses. This is why we are asking for any donations you all want to donate we would really appreciate it.
