Hurricane Harvey damage relief

I'm Brenda Cordero and I live in Midland, Texas. It was hard to watch what happened in Houston as I knew my little sister and her family were being affected by Hurricane Harvey. Some of you know my younger sister, Bonnye. She and her family live in League City, an area affected by Hurricane Harvey. Their home has been flooded, and they have some unplanned expenses on the near horizon.

My sister did not have flood insurance, which she deeply regrets. Right now Bonnye's family which includes David Taylor (13), Noah (11), Joshua (6), and Olivia (3) along with her husband David will have a place to stay and are safe. FEMA will be of assistance eventually, but for now, they have to move their belongings to storage, and replace the flooring to the entire first floor of the home. There will be some drywall repair and painting that will need to be done as well. Some furniture was ruined as well.
