People Suck

Hello all,

To begin, my name is Brook and as we all know, while we travel down this path called life we meet some pretty amazing people and some people that aren’t so amazing. Also with life we all encounter our own little struggles. I’m starting this go fund me for a dear friend and her wife who are both some of the most amazing people I have ever met. 

First, Kayla and Kenya are raising two beautiful girls that are not biologically theirs but those babies would have no one if it weren’t for them. Over the year I have known them I have watched them go through so much, multiple deaths in their family. She lost her brother in May to a heart attack, her 5 y/o nephew in June due to a car accident and her father was murderedin July. To top it all off her health is up and down but still remains strong for those babies. 

A couple weeks ago she had a birthday party for her oldest daughter and someone stole the baby girls school laptop straight from their home!!!! 

I’m starting this in hopes we as a community can not only cover the cost of the laptop ($850) but also give a little extra for Christmas time as these are already difficult time for all of us. 

Anything helps my friends. This is the season of giving and if you thought about adopting a family this holiday season I would love for you toconsider Kayla, Kenya and the girls.
