My name is Amro, and I am writing to you from war-torn Gaza. My family and I have lost everything — our home, our work, our safety, and our sense of peace. Every day feels like an endless nightmare filled with fear, hunger, and loss.

I’ve been married for nine years, and my wife and I have long dreamed of becoming parents. After many years of trying, she finally became pregnant through IVF — but our joy was short-lived. Amid the relentless bombings, the shortage of food, and the lack of clean water, my wife tragically lost our unborn child. It was the most painful moment of our lives.

Now, we are simply trying to survive. Our home was partially destroyed a few weeks ago, and I lost my business — I had been a small but successful trader who supported my family, including my parents, my younger sister, and my widowed sister who now cares for her four young children alone.

Every day is a struggle: we walk long distances just to find drinkable water or charge our phones. We risk our lives trying to get food from aid centers located near conflict zones. There is no electricity, no medical care, and nowhere safe to go.

Our only hope now is to leave Gaza — to find a safe country where we can rebuild our lives, receive medical care, and, God willing, try again to have a child.

We are seeking to raise $40,000 to cover the costs of travel, temporary housing, food, and medical expenses. Every single dollar you donate will bring us one step closer to safety and a new beginning — a chance to live without fear and to give the children in our family a future filled with hope, not despair.
