Help our friends in Ukraine!

Elevate is eager to support our friends and colleagues in Poland and Ukraine and is establishing this Go Fund Me drive for those who would like to provide monetary assistance to a known and trusted channel. 

Our colleague in Poland, Artur and his parents, Oleg and Julia, who are professors and psychologists at Catholic University in Lublin, have organized daily shipments of food, clothes, and blankets to the Polish-Ukrainian border. Over 250 shipments have been sent so far. These materials assist the many women and children waiting in long queues at the Polish border forced to flee from their homes without their possessions. 

Oleg and Julia are now undertaking another humanitarian task to secure power generators for shelters, hospitals, and medical points. Providing generators is an urgent need to assist with establishing lost power to kitchens, medical equipment or, in some cases, generate heat or light for sheltering families.

We aim to raise £15,000 by Monday, March 21, 2022. These funds will allow us to purchase much-needed emergency generators for hospitals in Ukraine. Each generator costs £400 (after discount); we have partnered with a local supplier who has agreed to offer us a 50% discount off the retail cost of each unit. 

In addition, we will be making donations to the Ukraine Crisis Response charity sponsored by the British Red Cross and the Polish Humanitarian Action, which is providing humanitarian aid to families in Ukraine who had to leave their homes.
