Sending An Angel Home

It goes without saying that Derrick Lamonte Stover is an incredible human being.  Anyone who has had the opportunity to meet him knows what love, acceptance, compassion, intelligence,  non judgement, and  tenderness yet immeasurable strength  looks like -  all while possessing  this uncanny sense of humor.  A sweet, dark brown-eyed young man standing at 6'5 who is the most gentle of giants.  As some of you may or may not know,  he has been fighting a terminal illness for the last 6 years. It is with great sadness we are letting family and friends know he is in his end of days/hours.  We would love to celebrate and honor his life in the best way we can. On behalf of my family,  I humbly ask for any donations to raise funds to cover upcoming expenses that will be incurred.  Anything helps and is appreciated in more ways than my words would and could ever express. Just as importantly,  any prayers, well wishes, and good thoughts and energy are just as needed. I'm proud to call my baby brother my hero.  His 27 years was not long enough for us,  but I'm overjoyed to say the world was a better place because of him.  He's touched many lives while creating the biggest smiles.  An impression on our hearts that will forever live on.  This has been the hardest time in our lives so we thank you for all the love and support.
