On October 5, 2025, our community lost a truly good man — Randy Robertson.

Born in Bequia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Randy built a beautiful life in Canada, where he worked hard and cared deeply for those around him. Since 1986, he dedicated himself to First Air / Canadian North, where he was more than just a colleague — he was family.

Randy was a devoted husband to Nena Yap, a proud father to Rohann, Colin, and Shemika, and a loving stepfather to Cheryl, John and joyce. He was also a proud grandfather, especially to Layla, Achilles and James who brought him endless joy.

Randy’s passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving his family heartbroken and facing the financial challenges that come with such a loss. This fundraiser has been created to help support Nena and the family during this difficult time — covering memorial expenses, time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that follow.

Randy was known for his steady kindness, his work ethic, and his deep love for his family. He showed us what it means to care, to provide, and to show up — every single day. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him and the people he loved most.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden and allow the family to focus on honouring Randy’s memory and finding peace in the days ahead.
