Raising money to help my mom. A fire ravaged and took everything from us.

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to look at my page. I am from Chicago. Born and raised. Yet i come from a very poor family. I am the first out of my family to graduate high school. and the first out of my generation to go to college. My mom, even with the limitations, has been there for me. thru thick and thin. And now something has happened that really has put a damper on my mom. A fire swept thru the apartment building on 7600 S. Halsted ave. My mom just called me today (6/6/12) and told me what happened. They lost everything. And I live in Champaign, IL which is 2 hours south of there. I dont know how to help in any other way but to do this. So please. if you can donate anything. be it a dollar. it would be very helpful. The price point is so i can help my mom get a new place and help buy clothes and food and everything needed to start over. Please help my cause. My mom dosent know that i am doing this. she is currently staying with a friend in chicago. I really wanna see my mom smile again.
