Sharing our love for Seaweed

Dearest friends, family and adoring fans of Seaweed,

As many of us know, our beautiful friend has been diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer. To start her treatment Seaweed has already had major surgery to remove the accessible cancer - a hemicolectomy to remove the right side of her bowel, the tumour, and 28 lymph nodes (24 with tumours). She is about to begin her first 6 months of chemotherapy.

Seaweed has already had time off work to recover from her surgery, and may increasingly need to have more time off as she deals with the side effects of chemotherapy.

Right before this diagnosis turned their world upside down, Seaweed and her wonderful partner Dan had been saving hard, and had recently gotten a deposit together to buy their first home. While she focuses on treatment, this plan is now on hold, but it's something they hope to come back to.

With so many friends in their life it would be amazing if this beautiful couple can make it through the next few months without having to spend their house deposit. Seaweed is a shining light in so many of our lives. Let's show them how much we love them, and help Seaweed and Dan through this unbelievably challenging time.
