My name is Maria Mornyang, I'm Adau's sister. On September 17, 2019, US Immigration - ICE officials in a surprise ambush arrested Adau Mornyang for illegally being in the United States and put her in jail. Adau arrived the United States with a valid 01 visa that expires on December 26, 2021. She's not in the country illegally. 
Adau was shocked since she knew she never entered the united states illegally nor overstayed her visa.
ICE agents had revoked her visa without notice because of an argument she had with a United Airlines flight attendant on January 21, 2019. Upon landing in Los Angeles after the flight altercation - Adau was irritated that a flight attendant spoke to her rudely and she responded to him similarly, ICE officials arrested Adau and arraigned her before a court in Los Angeles for Interference of flight crew. Ice Prosecutors asked for prison time for Adau, where to their disappointment, Judge Cormac J. Carney, a U. S. District Judge in Los Angeles determined that the situation did not warrant prison time and ordered Probation only. The stories presented to the judge regarding that in flight altercation had been heavily exaggerated and misrepresented. This no-jail outcome must've infuriated ICE officials who proceeded (without Adau's knowledge) to revoke her valid visa and subsequently arrested her for being in the country illegally. Meanwhile, a Judge never ordered that Adau should leave the country.
My sister has been in Jail for over 2 months, she's not been given any trial since arrest by ICE nor found guilty of overstaying her visa, just kept in jail indefinitely. Adau expected that she was going to be deported after her arrest on September 17, 2019 - that didn't happen either.
