Purses for Nurses
Donation protected
During this challenging time I decided to make a contribution to our front line medical professionals who offer their lives in service to others. I am limited by age and physical condition so offered to sew masks for our local hospital. I was told by a nurse friend of mine that they didn't need masks but what they could really use were washable tote bags instead of carrying the same contaminated purses. Thus I launched a project aptly named by my family "Purses for Nurses". I have been delivering bags to the hospital for three months, exhausted my stimulus check and want to continue the work since it seems to fill a need. My granddaughter cuts the fabric and my daughter-in-law is the brains of the operation. I would love to continue supplying bags (we have 1200 nurses at our local hospital) and would appreciate even the smallest donation to keep the project going. Thank you and stay safe.Rosemary Reilly
