Ambulance to transport disabled and injured Ukrainian refugees and soldiers
Hello Friends,
My name is Carmela O'Flaherty and I need your help. Imagine being trapped in a war zone and while your neighbors can walk, drive, or be evacuated by cars, vans, or busses, you are unable to join them because you are disabled or injured, and the available transportation does not have medical equipment crucial for your survival. Well, that is exactly what is happening right now for many disabled and injured Ukrainians since the ambulance they had was taken to handle the Kherson region crisis management.
A year ago, I suspended my career as a Corporate Leadership Communication Coach and traveled, as a volunteer, to the Ukrainian border at the Tesco (Poland) Ukrainian refugee facility to help. There I had the honor of working with the most selfless volunteers from all over the world, including Svitlana Karpenko, who since the beginning of the war has tirelessly helped transport (in her own car), rehabilitate, and rebuild the lives of THOUSANDS of people of all ages.
Today, Svitlana, is urgently seeking our help to purchase an ambulance to transport disabled and wounded Ukrainian refugees and soldiers to hospitals, refugee centers, and to other locations to be treated and/or begin a new life. The cost of the ambulance is $8,000 K - a 50% discount from its original price. She already has some of the funds and needs the raise the remainder. This is where you and I come in!!
Please consider helping us make a difference for people who are completely dependent on others for transport!! If you are unable to contribute, it’s OK - yu can help by passing this request on to others. A very big thank you!
Here are a few images of Svitlana, her interview with a Polish TV station, TVP3 + translation:

Allow me to introduce Svitlana Karpenko, Volunteer at Save People Worldwide
“ I was born and raised in the glorious city of Chervonohrad in the Lviv Oblast. Before the war, I had a small business involved in reselling goods from abroad. I belong to those people who cannot stand aside when someone else is in trouble - I will always find time and resources to help.
Volunteering has always been a part of my life, and I have never been indifferent to our smaller friends - animals, especially those without homes. I raised funds for sterilization and finding new homes and families for them. In 2014, I actively helped Crimean Tatar families find new homes and start a new chapter in their lives. I also assisted abandoned newborns because everyone deserves help.
The first days of the war were shocking, but I quickly gathered myself and on the 27th, I headed to Tesco in Poland, doing everything I could, often with only 4 hours of sleep. There was everything here, from sorting humanitarian aid and medicines to distributing them to the needy, finding homes for refugees, and facilitating their resettlement. I got acquainted with the team of Purple Vest Mission's Project. Although the times changed since the beginning of the war, the desire to help people remained. The charitable fund SAVE PEOPLE WORLDWIDE under the umbrella of Humanosh is made up of those who help with all their hearts. As always with volunteers, a common call for help united us. After the work was done, we realized that we can be useful and that by joining forces, we can do even more!
The team of Save People Worldwide helps with all their hearts.”
